Spare parts requirements for CD box
Rattling noises can come from this area as a result of tolerances between the CD box and glove box.
Since September 2010, a piece of felt is applied to the top of the CD box during vehicle production in order to eliminate noises.
Action Required:
Before installing a replacement CD box, adhered the piece of felt.

Stick a strip of felt to the top of the CD box.
1 Clean the bonding area on the top of the CD box with isopropyl and a clean cloth.
2 Remove protective film from the felt (self­adhesive).
3 Center the felt (­arrow­) on the top of the CD box and stick it on 8­9 mm from the rear edge of the box.
4 Install CD box.
