Concerns: Ignition coil with Part Nos. 997.602.104.00 and 997.602.107.00
Information:
Procedure for replacing faulty ignition coils.
Cracks in the ignition coil housing (> Figure 1) can cause corrosion, which can result in a roughrunning engine and misfiring.
Action Required:
If at least one ignition coil is diagnosed as faulty, the designation (with or without "EM 10", > Figure 2) must be read off all ignition coils.
Depending on the designation ("EM 10") on the faulty ignition coil, either all ignition coils or a single ignition coil must be replaced, > see
