As you can see, the changes we'd expect from a production version are minimal. Under the skin, however, we expect to see more serious alterations, like the addition of the Volkswagen Group's EV architecture that is also expected under the electric Macan.
Porsche's only current electric car, the Taycan, produces up to 750 horsepower, and as a full EV, that is possible here too, but more important will be torque and off-road capability. With that in mind, the Taycan's 774 lb-ft of torque sound more than adequate, while clever electronic trickery should be able to mimic locking differentials.
This is still a Porsche though, so that same electronic trickery combined with a low center of gravity, plenty of instant grunt, and Stuttgart's excellent suspension systems should mean something that's far more fun to drive than, say, a Rivian R1S or GMC Hummer. The possibility of a frunk will also make this the most versatile Porsche ever.
