PCM3.1 - Bluetooth Hands-free Phone Interface (I-no. 619)

Information:

Retrofitting

Model Year:

As of 2010

Restriction:

Only for vehicles with PCM3.1.

Information:

The mobile phone preparation is available without a console for connecting mobile phones that support the hands-free profile (HFP) via

Bluetooth(R). When connected via HFP, PCM3. 1 serves only as a hands-free facility. Only the basic functions of the mobile phone can be used

using PCM3.1. With this option, GSM is connected via the mobile phone antenna.

For more information on operation and the various functions available, refer to the "PCM3.1" operating instructions.

Vehicles with the optional equipment telephone module (I-no. 666) and/or voice control (I-no. 671) already have the required microphone installed. The microphone wire harness and the roof console do not need to be retrofitted for these options.

Information

The following data is required in order to activate the function (enabling code):

^    Part number of the retrofit kit

^    Vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle to be converted

^    Order number used for ordering parts

These components require a VIN-specific enabling code and will not function without it. To get the enabling code, order the applicable kit via your

normal parts channels (POLARIS). You must then submit a PTEC/PTAR with the correct VIN, Part Number and PCNA order number to PCNA

Parts Support. The PTEC will be returned to you in 1 + working days, advising you that the code is now displayed in the PIWIS System. Consult

Parts Bulletin GR13D9O for additional ordering details.

Once you confirm the order, the "Bluetooth mobile phone preparation" enabling code can be obtained from the vehicle code information for the

vehicle to be converted in the PPN (PIWIS).
