PCM3.1 - Logbook

INFORMATION:

Coding logbook

Model Year:

As of 2010

Restriction:

Only for vehicles with PCM3.1 (I-no. 672).

INFORMATION:

The optional electronic logbook for PCM3.1 supports the driver in maintaining a logbook by recording all relevant data for the type of trip (private,

business), much of it automatically, and reducing user input to a minimum. PCM3 automatically records every trip > 100 m. Trip recording starts as

soon as the key is inserted in the ignition and ends when it is removed. PCM3.1 will automatically record the following data:

- Date/time of departure and arrival - Mileage at the start and end of the trip

- Start and destination address (location, street, country)

If the data is to be transferred to a PC, the recorded data is copied from PCM3.1 either via Bluetooth?or via the optional USB interface for PCM3.1.

The data can be read in, edited and printed using the accompanying PC software. This software meets the requirements of the German tax authorities for documenting automatic logbook recordings.

INFORMATION:

The following data is required in order to activate the function (enabling code): - Part number of the retrofit kit

- Vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle to be converted - Order number used for ordering parts

These components require a VIN-specific enabling code and will not function without it. To get the enabling code, order the applicable kit via your normal parts channels (POLARIS). You must then submit a PTEC/PTAR with the correct VIN, Part Number and PCNA order number to PCNA Parts Support. The PTEC will be returned to you in 1+ working days, advising you that the code is now displayed in the PIWIS System. Consult Parts Bulletin GR13D90 for additional ordering details.

Once you confirm the order, the "Logbook" enabling code can be obtained from the vehicle code information for the vehicle to be converted in the PPN (PIWIS).
