P17F0 Porsche Cayman S (987) F6-3.4L

P17F0
Diagnosis information - PDK
Double-clutch transmission, overtemperature
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
- Ignition on
Possible fault causes
- Vehicle braked stationary
Fault setting conditions
- Oil sump temperature > 135 °C (275 °F)
Fault effects
- Transmission limp-home indication [transmission overheated]
- Jerking when driving off and crawling
- Reduced engine speed
- No gear preselection
With P17F1
