Diagnostic conditions



- Coolant temperature > 50 锟斤拷C (122 锟斤拷F) for more than 60 s (stuck low)



- Coolant temperature < 70 锟斤拷C (158 锟斤拷F) (stuck high)



- Vehicle voltage > 9 V



- No fault entered for coolant temperature



- No fault entered for oil temperature sensor



- Engine running > 10 sec.



Possible fault causes



- Loose contact or corrosion on connectors or lines



- Short circuit between lines



- Oil cooler damaged or blocked



- Oil temperature sensor faulty
