This bulletin replaces bulletin Group 1, # 27/08, dated September 25, 2008.
Vehicle Type:
All Porsche vehicles for which Porsche A40 engine oils are allocated.

Note:
This technical information applies to all Porsche standard-production vehicles with the exception of the Porsche Cayenne V6 3.2 and V6 3.6
DFI. The engine oils for the Porsche Cayenne V6 3.2 and V6 3.6 DFI are listed in a separate bulletin.

Porsche AG has reached an agreement with the oil companies which involves setting a time limit on the validity of our engine oil approvals.
The period of validity is between 2 and 3 years. The expiration date of the approval is given in the last column in the list.

Miscibility:
All engine oils approved by Porsche can be mixed provided they are of the same Porsche oil specification. This means that it is not necessary to
flush the engine when the oil is changed if another type of oil is used. However, since every brand of oil has a specially adapted unique
composition, the same brand and type of oil should be used for topping up between oil change intervals if possible.
