  • Battery positive voltage 9 ... 16 V
  • Time after engine starts > 10 seconds

    Possible fault causes

  • Open circuit in activation line
  • Short circuit to ground in activation line
  • Short circuit to B+ in activation line
  • Open circuit in voltage supply
  • Fuse F12 faulty (fuse carrier in plenum panel E-box)
  • K7 connection point disconnected
  • Intake camshaft adjuster faulty
  • Solenoid hydraulic valve faulty
