- Other control modules detect these substitute values and set this fault code.

P0521

P0521

Diagnosis information - Control unit DME (DFI)

Oil pressure sensor

Diagnostic conditions

- Idle speed > 1 Minute(s), then:

- Engine speed > 3,010 1/min, then:

- Switch off ignition and Ignition key remove > 1 Minute(s)

(Oil level, Oil dilution, Soiling Oil circuit, Oil circuit Faulty)

- Oil pressure sensor Faulty (incorrectly trimmed in comparison with Ambient pressure sensor)

Fault setting condition(s)

- Engine oil pressure > 6.2 bar at Engine speed < 1,000 1/min

or

- Engine oil pressure less than 1.5 bar at Engine speed greater than 3,800 1/min

or

- Deviation Engine oil pressure - Ambient pressure > 0.5 bar in control unit run-on phase (to Ignition off)
