Audi E-Tron FE05

Audi E-Tron FE05

Audi has unveiled their newly-developed e-tron FE05 Formula E racer, scheduled to end up with Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler as well British squad Virgin Racing for the upcoming 2018-2019 Formula E season. This season is the most innovative one yet, as for the first time since the series was launched in 2014, drivers will only use one car per race thanks to batteries that can now last the entire 45-minute race distance. Thus, the mandatory car change has been eliminated. This new-generation e-tron FE05 racer comes without a rear wing, where downforce is generated by a large diffuser at the rear. In this new season, teams are permitted to run 250 kW (340 HP) motors in qualifying, while race output is capped at 200 kW (272 HP). Also new are the so-called activation zones where drivers can temporarily access a higher power mode, worth 225 kW (306 HP). Meanwhile, fans will still be able to support their favorite driver by casting their vote online via 鈥淔anBoost鈥? giving drivers a temporary power boost worth up to 250 kW (340 HP), same as in qualifying. In a straight line, the e-tron FE05 can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and max out at around 240 km/h. Round one of the 2018-2019 Formula E season kicks off on December 15th in Saudi Arabia.

So they at least have more than a few ships. I would just like to point out the nature of the structuring of the post, the chapters, branches, and individual bullet points. Many ideas are intuitive across many relevant points and have been condensed in a manner as seen fit. From when the original post was made I have expanded from 2 to 3 chapters, moving the contents of what is now simply chapter 3 from where they were before. However chapter 2 is now introduced under its own explicit content. The purpose of this was in part to reiterate points that might have been lost in other branches and points. As well as extract relevant information that on its own is applicable to specific topics of interest in order to express clarity of thought. The further indexing of specific topics as they become more plentiful is seen in the use of sub-branches. From here on, we can continue to make suggestions and give ideas. This is a fairly rough draft, it will be worked on over time.

Porsche 917 Concept from a couple months ago? Well, we still do, and there are finally more photos of it to share. When Porsche revealed the concept, there was but one image available. Now we get to gaze at it from a few new angles, and it hasn't lost any of the original charm. Strangely enough, this design study dates back to 2014, but it was never shown to the public then. It's not exactly normal for a car company to wait this long to show a concept, but we sure are glad Porsche is finally doing it. Go ahead and take in the gorgeous photographs, but there's arguably something even more exciting at stake here: Porsche's next hypercar. A recent report from Autocar contains a few quotes from Porsche design boss Michael Mauer that gets our imagination running. The takeaway here is that Porsche is still unsure of what direction it wants to take with its 918 successor. And there certainly will be a successor, according to Porsche CEO Oliver Blume. He says Porsche is working on it now, but still doesn't have a decision on what type of powertrain to use. A fully-electric or hybrid car appear to be the possibilities laid out on the table now. One thing's for sure, we certainly don't have any qualms with this concept as a jumping-off point for design inspiration.
