- Lambda control Active

- Mixture deviation per bank -10 % ... +10 %

--> See Actual values >L340 Upper fuel trim (FRAO) B1 + L350 Upper fuel trim (FRAO) B2<

(If there is NO longer any need for adaption in this area)

- Full-throttle acceleration, at:

- Engine speed 2,500 1/min --> 3,400 1/min

- 4. gear or higher

- Gear must be maintained

- No fault entered for : Lambda control

Possible fault causes

- Vacuum line (Vacuum modulator at intake pipe pipe) Faulty

- Shift solenoid valve for Vacuum modulator at intake pipe stuck (See [Information])

- Vacuum modulator at intake pipe Faulty [See [Information]]

- Flap stuck (open or Closed)

INFORMATION

- Entrainment of engine oil into the vacuum system due to a faulty mechanical vacuum pump can result in the specified consequential faults.

- In this case, the entire vacuum system for the accessories (without brake booster circuit) must be checked for oil entrainment.

- All vacuum lines, connectors and components of the vacuum system that are soiled with oil must be replaced.

Diagnostic function

- Normal triggering of the flap occurs at approx. 4,000 1/min ..

- Diagnosis is performed by means of active activation. at:

- approx. 2,500 ... 3,400 1/min

- The diagnosis checks whether deviation of the oxygen sensors is as expected upon activation. at:

- Result OK --> Diagnosis ended

- Result not OK --> Diagnosis is repeated; at:

INFORMATION

One or more additional faults are entered that more precisely indicate the operating ranges in which the fault occurred.

- range near idle speed:

- P1069 + P1070 + P1071 + P1072 + P1073

- lower partial-load range:

- P1074 + P1075

- upper partial-load range:

- P1076 + P1077
