Formula E Announces London Race For Season Finale Of 2019-20

London has been confirmed as the venue for the season finale of the 2019-20 Formula E campaign, which will be expanded to 14 races for the first time. The sixth season will also see the calendar expanded to 14 races, with South Korean capital Seoul becoming the latest major city to embrace the rapidly growing motorsport. More races and new faces, with the incredible new additions of Seoul and London, as well as the inclusion of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. London will conclude the season with an ePrix double-header on July 25-26, 2020 at a new circuit at the ExCel centre. The 2.4km track will feature a unique indoor stadium section as well as taking in the waterfront of the Royal Docks. Formula E, which is based in Britain, left the UK after residents in Battersea complained about disruption to the local area, with more than 50,000 spectators attended the event.

The announcement, which will see plans to reduce, avoid and even offset emissions from transport as well as homes, farming and industry, was made with a Formula E car parked outside No 10 Downing Street. In addition to new city circuits, the sixth season of Formula E will see the inclusion of Mercedes and Porsche to the paddock. They join manufacturers including BMW, Audi, Jaguar and Nissan who already field teams, ensuring Formula E will boast the most manufacturers of any motorsport. 鈥?UK Prime Minister (@10DowningStreet) June 12, 2019 Formula E is currently broadcast on the BBC and on YouTube, and it will remain free-to-air next season, as Longo confirmed to Sportsmail last month. We will stay free-to-air,' Longo said at the BMW i Berlin ePrix. It was one of our targets from the beginning. Creating this brand from scratch was very challenging, and we're only halfway there. We know we need to do a lot of work but the reality is we base all our strategy on being free-to-air and I think that is the right approach. We're in over 200 countries at the moment being broadcasted and 90 per cent of them are free to air.

The Brilliance V6 has been unveiled on the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show in China. The V6 is a new mid-size SUV that will be launched on the Chinese car market in December. It has become a very good looking car, likely the best looking Brilliance so far. Brilliance has come up with a very catchy slogan for the V6: Leading the age of intelligence. It is also interesting to see that the company is using the Chinese name 鈥榋honghua鈥?in an English text, normally they would use the English name Brilliance. Power comes from a 1.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with 150 hp. Gear box: a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic, or a seven-speed DCT. Three 鈥榖oxes for one engine. Dimension size is 4620/1922/1734 mm, and wheelbase is 2725 mm. Brilliance says the V6 was developed with official support by BMW. This support stretched from development to design to production, with over 200 鈥淕ermans鈥?working of the V6 and V7 projects. Brilliance and BMW also have the Brilliance-BMW joint venture together, building BMWs for the Chinese market. Dash with a big Tesla-like touch screen, analogue dials with a 7 inch TFT in between, amd a sporty flat bottomed steering wheel. The infotainment system runs on a new operating system called BriAir, a name that seems more fittingly for something with air, like an air conditioner or air purifier. Brilliance says the voice-recognition system of BriAir can recognize 鈥?0 Chinese dialects鈥? That would be impressive indeed, no kidding. There are hundreds of different dialects in China (not to mention different languages) and drivers are normally forced to speak 鈥榩ure鈥?Mandarin to voice-activated systems. Brilliance it seems has found a way to let the locals speak local. More on that as we get it.

It鈥檚 still quite recognizable as a Porsche Cayman model, and offers up the same classic Porsche styling from front to back. That said, there are a few details on the T that help it stand out next to the non-T variants. In front, we find a very familiar fascia, with the classic low-slung nose and wide stance. A trio of intakes take up the lower bumper section, while horizontal corner lights add an extra dose of visual width. Above the bumper, the narrow headlights are drawn back into the fenders, which rise high above the plus-sized tire and wheel package. Speaking of the rollers, the T comes equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels with a dark titanium grey finish as standard. These offer a blocky five-spoke design, and do well to complement the Cayman T鈥檚 鈥渟implified鈥?design philosophy. You鈥檒l also notice T-specific upgrades like Agate grey sideview mirror covers, and of course, a full set of complementary 718 Cayman T badging.

The big wheels, the soaring fender flares, the big intakes in front and in the flanks - all of it screams performance, even without overstepping in any one area. Further unique touches were added to the rear, where you鈥檒l find a centrally mounted sports exhaust with a black chrome-plated finish. It鈥檚 a nice look, and should be appreciated by those in the know. Finally, the 2020 Porsche Cayman T comes with a full complement of exciting exterior colors, including Indian Red, Racing Yellow, black, Deep Black, white, Carrara White, and GT Silver. The Cayman T is also offered with special hues like Miami Blue and Lava Orange. Finally, it鈥檚 worth noting that Porsche offers a nearly identical T spec in a droptop body style with the 718 Boxster (the Cayman is the hardtop variant, but the cars are nearly identical below the roof). Like the exterior spec, the 2020 Porsche Cayman T鈥檚 cabin looks remarkably similar to that of the standard model.
