With its four-liter displacement of the naturally aspirated engine from the current 911-motors is derived and is, therefore, also in terms of acoustics is a piece of cake. So I did. On the way home the new belly pan started flapping really bad and scrubbing the on the road, so I had to pull over and rip the rest of the pan off. I decided not to argue about it because I was already irritated with the dealership at this point, as they were an hour drive away. After 3 weeks the Haldex controller finally came In. I brought the vehicle in and they replaced the controller. So, over the next few months my EPC light would come on and then go away here and there. At the 9th month since purchase the light came on and wouldn't go off. So I asked one of my Audi Club buddies to check my car with vcds. He checked it and it stated Haldex Controller failure. I was shocked, this was replaced a few months ago. I pull my car on the rack as saw that the Controller stated (APPROVED SPARE PART) Used part?
So, I make an appointment with Audi Raleigh. They take the car in and stated the Controller was bad and they would order me another Controller. It took about a week and a half and the part came in. They had the car for 3 days because the advisor didn't order all the parts. They then installed the controller but it didn't fix it. 3500. I called the service manager three times and he was not available and the operator stated she would let the manager know I called and he should call me back within the day. No surprise he didn't! A couple days later Audi Raleigh customer satisfaction called and asked about my experience. I told her and she said she would have the service manger call me. Again, he didn't. So since the entire rear end was condemned I decided to take matters in my own hands. I ordered a VCDS diagnosis cable. 260 clutch pump for the Haldex and problem solved.
Their service techs don't know how to diagnose. If you look like you make less than 100k a year, they look at you like you are a peasant! The only 2 that were nice was the lady at the front desk and Charles my salesman. They get 5 stars! As far as the other staff, they can go kick rocks! I'm DONE with this dealership! My husband purchased an A3 from Audi Raleigh in fall 2015 and had a great experience with the purchase. The experience since then has been abysmal. After a few weeks, we noticed that the gently used car (less than a year old) was missing a trim piece on the interior rear passenger door. We called the service department and they shared that this had happened on other cars. They committed to ordering the part and installing it for free. Over the course of six months, my husband called them dozens of times and was passed around between service and sales managers, all who promised the part was on the way but then never would call him back.
We finally decided to stop by the dealership on a Saturday and spoke to their general manager, Ron Rascoe. I assumed they would immediately be apologetic, embarrassed and committed to making it right - they were not. After a quick check it turned out the piece had been sitting on someone's desk for months. Ron was not apologetic and even claimed that 'they had done most of what they promised' in getting the piece ordered. He offered to install it, but when we shared that we were still disgusted by the overall experience, Ron did not seem to care too much about remedying it. He said he could 'maybe offer a free car wash and oil change' but wasn't even that committed to this offer. He then claimed that we should appreciate that he believed us that we didn't somehow remove this piece of trim ourselves? They agreed to pick up our car and get the piece fixed, but that was the only resolution they offered. Needless to say, we left with a terrible taste and will never, ever visit this dealership again.
