Date display in PCM.
Information:
Complaint "PCM shows wrong date (Date shown is a date in the future)".
As a result, an incorrect maintenance interval date can also be displayed.
Due to a software error in PCM, there is a possibility that the date will be set to a date in the future during synchronization with the GPS data.

Until such a time as an Update CD becomes available for PCM,
^ the Developer menu in PCM must be enabled using the PIWIS Tester and
^ the date on the PCM system must be corrected if this complaint is received.
Information
If the battery is disconnected, the fault can occur again.
Before handing the vehicle over to the customer, the date/time must therefore be checked and the described remedial action must be carried out
again if necessary.
Date of Introduction:
