Advice Required Re Porsche Finance And Disposal Of 718

Hopefully someone will be able to assist. Basically due to illness on my wifes side of the family, care fees are needed to be paid by the family, to help out we've decided to get rid of our Boxster to free up some funds to help. We bought the car from new on Porsche finance approx 2 and half years ago, due to the situation we do not want to to take to long in sorting out the finances. Do I just give them the car back and hopefully clear the finance? Do I have to take the car back to the OPC I bought it from or am I ok to speak to various OPC's to see if they will give me a better price for my car? The car is in good condition having been garaged all its life and only has 3k miles on it, it has also had an oil change every year at Porsche.

Im hoping with that in mind they would be interested in taking the car back. Is this likely or does anyone have any other suggestions? You can ask for a settlement amount at any time (assuming it's a personal agreement), and that's what you have to pay to make the car 'yours'. They will issue you with a settlement letter, which will be valid until next instalment date. You can ask any dealer or buyer for their offers, and take the best one. No ties to original OPC, but obviously worth trying them. A dealer will likely be able to pay finance co direct, and give you the balance. Obviously make sure you deal with a reputable third party buyer and don't part with car or docs, until you have the cash and the finance company has confirmed they have received full settlement. Alternatively, you can make the settlement payment in advance and the car is yours, to sell 'clean' to whoever makes best offer (with same caveats on third party diligence). If for some reason you are in "negative equity" you do have statutory rights to just hand the car back under certain circumstances and not be due any more money. Depends on length of agreement and the number, %, of payments you have made. You'd have to get specific advice on that.

Porsche's mid-engined sportscar are a boiling-hot topic these days. You seem, sales of the 718 Cayman and Boxster haven't been as strong as predicted, with the switch to turbo-four engines being the reason behind this. Then again, Zuffenhausen is prepared to introduce at least one six-cylinder version for each model and I'm refering to the 718 Cayman GT4 and the 718 Boxster Spyder. I'll focus on the Cayman GT4 for now, since a prototype was recently spotted blitzing the Nurburgring. And with the test car having lost its camo, we now know what to expect from the showroom model, at least on the visual level. However, the oily bits of the entry-level GT car are still a mystery. Then there's the gearbox - as is the case with the previous GT4, the newcomer will pack a manual tranny, with the aim to prevent Neunelfer cannibalization. However, the rumor mill talks about Zuffenahusen offering a PDK tranny this time around. Now, if you wish to feast your eyes on the work of art that is the manual roof of the Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder, you can do so in this spy tale. As for what the future holds, the German carmaker has confirmed it is currently testing both electric and hybrid powertrains for the next-gen Boxster and Cayman. P.S.: The video below is a spy compilation and you'll find the 718 Cayman GT4 at the 8:13 point. Nevertheless, the rest of the clip is loaded with all sorts of go fast machines, from the Honda Civic Type R to the Audi RS6 Avant.

That is the reason Ford has scrounged around in its brands locker and brushed the dust off Vignale for its new Mondeo extravagance trim level. Back in the '70s when Ford procured Ghia, it additionally acquired the name of Alfredo Vignale, a coachbuilder who'd made bespoke Ferraris and Alfas. After a few false first lights on idea autos, Vignale is at last out of hibernation. It replaces the leader Titanium X Sport in the Mondeo range. You'll recognize a Vignale by the lashings of chrome united onto the cantina or bequest body: nameplate, side accents, grille edging, boot strip. What's more, the shiny metallic completion, with additional enamel: the extraordinary dispatch shading is nocciola (yes, hazelnut). There's a hexagon theme in the grille, which additionally shows up on the cowhide seats. Portage has restored the Rover.

Does the new Ford Mondeo Vignale feel premium? You may think the standard Mondeo an unpromising begin for an extravagance auto: in places, its materials are as welcoming as a sandpaper-lined bathtub. The Ford Mondeo Vignale set-up is solace one-sided, with the body riding calmly, joined by amazing mechanical refinement. The directing is a touch inert off the dead-ahead, yet fab through quick twists, and the body, fitted with discretionary all-wheel drive, nourishes back hold levels like a rally pro calling pace notes. They won't be tempted by FordStores' Vignale 'lounges': successfully a screened-off couch with all the peacefulness of closing the draperies around your doctor's facility bed, however the touchscreen table - think monstrous Surface tablet for speccing autos - is perfect. Clients can get a 'relationship director' to mastermind adjusting accumulation and conveyance. Ford Mondeo Vignale feels like a guarded move, and Ford doesn't expect a rush of Audi purchasers. The execution will must be much more honed with the expected S-Max and Kuga Vignales. The Mondeo feels more Aldi than Audi.
