2019 Lamborghini Mucielago LP640

Special emphasis must be laid on the technology- and design-package made from Autoklav moulded carbon fibre. Technology which is normally only being used in Formula 1 and other Top-motorsports Series. The strinkingly aggressive and aerodynamically highly effective front apron (spoiler) perfectly aligned to the wheel arches (widened 35mm on each side), directly becomes apparent. On the upper side of the wheel arches, imsa CFK air ducts have been integrated, resulting in a significant reduction of the drag effect caused by non-aerodynamic airflow at higher and highest velocity. The imsa side-skirts on the underside guarantee the optimum airflow to the imsa diffuser, which has been developed for an aerodynamically perfect interaction with the imsa rear spoiler. Imsa herewith achieved to considerably lower the downforce at higher and highest speeds. The benefits for the driver are a significant enhancement of driving stability, safety and enjoyment. All parts of the imsa-aerodynamic-enhancement program are either available in carbon-on-sight or can be painted in any colour of choice. The imsa aerodynamic-enhancement-program is available from November 2007 on and will soon be available for the 鈥渟tandard鈥?Murcielago as well. At imsa, each customer is fully involved in the creation of his personal, unique imsa-Megacar handcrafted according to highest German standards of quality and precision. Additionally, personalised tailor-made interiors inclusive of various multi-media applications are also being fitted on special request.

Other than that it was a pretty flat course set off by hay bales for the protection of drivers and spectators. Production cars frequently got into difficulty in some corners, and even the big dogs got decorated with hay now and again. MG's seem to have a lot of trouble at many meets staying right side up, and Pomona was no exception. It was not uncommon to see Corvettes and Jaguars spin, but somehow they always seemed to stay upright. The photo below was taken from the overpass as two Corvettes hang it out. In the following photo, notice the large pylons that were used to mark the course. As you can see in the next photo, Pomona drew large crowds. After a slippery dance, even a big Ferrari might eat some hay. These photos were taken in the July '57 event. Races then always employed a standing start and it could get quite exciting for the starter when someone in an up-front row killed his engine. You can ask me how I know! John von Neumann won the big bore race whose start is shown. Ken Miles had just won the small bore (under 1500cc) race. Speaking of Ken Miles, in the next photo he is shown heading under the overpass in his 550 Spyder. Even Ken would hang the back out as shown as he exits from under the overpass. These two photos were during the October '57 meet. While cars slid this way and that on occasion, it was really a pretty safe track, with almost nothing solid to hit, except for the tunnel.

A Porsche 911 would be considered a Specialty Product. It is a sports car that serves a dual purpose; it can be used on a race track as well as a daily car without sacrificing too much utility in either segment. This dual utility is what makes the 911 a great car, and very hard to substitute. Porsche has a wide product mix that stretches from the small two seat convertible Boxster, all the way to the full size family SUV, the Cayenne. Porsche is keen to fill in each of their product items with a deep product line. Porsche does this in order to cater to the different types of customers that may be looking into purchasing one of their product items. For example Porsche offers the standard 911 Carrera, a 911 Carrera S, a 911 GTS, a 911 Cabriolet, a 911 Cabriolet S , a 911 Cabriolet GTS.

They then proceed to offer a four wheel drive option for each of these cars. After that there is the 911 Targa and Targa S models, the 911 Turbo, Turbo S, Turbo Cabriolet and Turbo Cabriolet S. Finally the last two options for Porsche 911 buyers are the 50th Anniversary Edition and the GT3. Porsche is rumored to be adding two more cars to the 911 product line very soon. The GT3 RS and a 911 that uses Porsche's new E-Hybrid systems. Porsche also is known for having and even more convoluted options list that is notorious for adding an extra thirty thousand dollars to the car's sticker price. When Porsche launched the 991 911 GT3, They sold it with a 10,000 mile warranty. This was unheard of for a car of this type. A car that was made to be thrashed on a racetrack. One of the cars best features is its engine. A new engine that Porsche originally designed for their race cars, that revs to 9,000 rpm. Porsche had to make sure that every component was able to withstand the strains of running at 9,000 rpm. When the early engines did fail, Porsche honored their warranty, albeit much soon than they'd hope they would have too. But the fact that a warranty like that was offered by Porsche shows how much faith they have in their engineering teams and how confident they are in the cars that they produce.
