This 2 owner 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe is finished in black over a black leather interior and was with its previous owner for 27 years prior to our recent acquisition. Power comes from a 3.6L flat-six paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle, and the car has remained completely original aside from the sound system. Recent maintenance included new pads and rotors, replacing various fluids & filters, spark plugs, new windshield wiper blades, front hood and rear decklid support struts, and more. Now showing just over 106k miles, this 964 is offered with service records dating back to 2002, a stamped factory service booklet, a factory owners manual & leather binder, a clean Carfax and a clear Title. The black finish is shown from several angles in the gallery section. Some cracking is noted on the front driver's fender below the headlight and various rock chips can be seen on the front of the hood as detailed in the gallery.
Paint meter readings are consistent with factory original paint. The provided Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage. A set of original factory D90 16 wheels wear newer Yokohama Advan S4 performance tires all around. Recent work included replacing the rotors and pads all around, alignment and corner balance, sway bar links, as well as a new brake pressure switch and relay. This particular 964 is optioned with partial-leather, which covers the seats, door panels, center console, and dashboard. The black interior features powered seats, powered windows, power sunroof, power mirrors, and an Eclipse head unit. Service receipts from Porsche Minneapolis show a recent repair of the driver's side seat motor. The air conditioning and heating system was recently serviced and are in good working condition. The odometer shows just over 106k miles, about 92K of which were added by the previous owner. The 3.6L M64 flat-six was factory-rated at 250 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque when new. The G50 5-speed manual transaxle shifts smoothly with no grinding or issues. Servicing conducted within the last 2k miles under previous ownership included new breather valve seals, replacing the engine air duct, while more recent work included changing various fluids and filters, and installing a new dme relay.
The new 911 Carrera S cabriolet will be available with a rear-wheel drive option with power coming in from a 3-litre six-cylinder boxer engine with 444 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 530 Nm torque between 2,300 and 5,000 rpm. Thanks to an improved injection process, drive efficiency has been increased whilst emissions were reduced. Other optimisation measures include a new layout for the turbochargers and charge air cooling system. The power is delivered by a newly developed eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 911 Carrera S Cabriolet accelerates from zero to 100 kmph in 3.9 seconds (with optional Sport Chrono Package: 3.7 seconds) and can reach speeds up to 306 kmph. The 2019 911 Porsche Cabriolet churns out 444 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 530 Nm torque between 2,300 and 5,000 rpm. The new engine mounting position makes the convertible more torsionally rigid than its predecessor. For the first time, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) sport chassis is available for the 911 Cabriolet. It features harder and shorter springs, more rigid front and rear anti-roll-bars as well as a 10-millimetres lower chassis. These adjustments give the 911 convertible a more neutral feel on the road, with better weight distribution. As a world first, Porsche has developed the Wet Mode, which is included as standard.
Subaru鈥檚 parent company Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. Tan Chong Group for the local production of an unnamed compact SUV in Malaysia. The Japanese automaker said an initial assembly of 5,000 vehicles per year will begin in October 2012 at an existing production facility of Tan Chong Motor Assemblies Sdn. Bhd (TCMA). The vehicles will be sold in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia through the Tan Chong Group鈥檚 Subaru network. FHI established a partnership with Tan Chong Group in 1987 when the latter was appointed the Subaru distributor in Singapore. The Tan Chong Group has since expanded the sales and distribution network of Subaru vehicles across ASEAN countries that now include Cambodia, Southern China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Subaru says Higgins will not only try to win the race but also beat the 62.68 second lap record on the 1.2-mile course set last year by a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera LP570-4.
