Wilton CT New Porsche Customers Promised New Things From Porsche Every Year

Porsche has big plans for world domination. Mueller has experience with Volkswagen in leading Audi production and the VW product line as a whole. He came to BMW in October with big dreams and has a definite vision of where he wants to see Porsche headed. In an interview with Harald Hamprecht of Automotive News Europe, Mueller was very candid about what he wants to see happen with Porsche. Your Weston used Porsche dealer is excited about the direction of the company. Keeping the sporty image and springing some surprises on the auto industry are part of the plan. All that while keeping its position as the world's most profitable car maker - quite a feat. But Mueller promises to raise the bar and keep customers and employees happy. Wilton, CT new Porsche buyers will appreciate that and will likely be excited about the new models promised by Mueller annually. This, apparently, is the major even Mueller wants to celebrate each year with while continuing to upgrade existing models.

The new 911 coming this fall is slated for 30,000 units to be sold. Quite ambitious, but we'll see what Mueller can do in the marketing arena. He must have been successful at Volkswagen or BMW would not have hired him away. The 911, in fact, now has 22 different derivatives and will be used as an example for the other models, according to Mueller. Weston used Porsche customers can obviously expect to see a lot of choices in the showroom. The Panamera model will offer buyers more choices as well and a longer wheelbase will be one example. Porsche is looking at growing not just the U.S. They feel the longer wheelbase will be popular in places like Russia and China. A totally electric Porsche is on the drawing board too, as it is with most car manufacturers. Mueller believes that 20 percent of all new cars will be electric within 10 years and plans to get in on that action. But Porsche has sales goals for the present as well. For the 2011 selling season the goal is 100,000 units. That would beat last year's sales by about 3,000, but is still a step toward the doubling in sales that Mueller has planned for Porsche in the next eight years. It seems the entire Porsche team will be kept busy for the next few years designing, building and selling its way to the top of the market.

The Mercedes features a large central cubby, and with no gearlever on the centre console, there鈥檚 a big set of cup-holders for extra storage, which is easier to access than the VW鈥檚 cubby below its screen. In the makers鈥?chart of our Driver Power 2018 owner satisfaction survey, Mercedes finished behind both Volkswagen and Honda, in a relatively poor 20th place out of 26 brands. Honda performed well in third, while Volkswagen ranked in fifth position overall. The A-Class gets a full five-star Euro NCAP rating. Autonomous braking and lane-keep assist are standard on all three cars, but blind spot assist and parking sensors are both missing from the A 35; they鈥檙e part of the costly 拢1,695 Driving Assistance and 拢1,395 Executive option packages. One example of pricey options on the AMG is heated seats, which are part of the 拢1,395 Executive Package (they鈥檙e included as standard on the Golf R).

But this also adds worthwhile extras, such as the larger infotainment screen. The A 35 returned a solid 34.4mpg during our test. 鈥淭he A 35鈥檚 dual-clutch gearbox is occasionally jerky in auto mode when it gets caught in two minds. It also sometimes selects an inappropriate gear in town. Honda offers the Civic Type R in two forms: standard and GT. Here we鈥檙e testing the 拢33,525 GT, which matches these rivals for kit but works out cheaper to buy. It鈥檚 our current favourite hot hatch, so it鈥檚 the model to beat. The Honda Civic Type R is already a legendary hot hatch. While the current 2.0-litre turbo isn鈥檛 an all-time great (especially next to the high-revving motors in previous Type Rs), it produces 316bhp and 400Nm of torque, so it鈥檚 the most powerful car here. As with its rivals, the Honda features struts at the front and a multi-link rear, but unlike the A 35 and Golf R, the Honda is front-wheel drive only, and there鈥檚 no automatic transmission option.
