1. The hose leading to the secondary air pump is closed off with a plug and secured with a clamp.

The plug must be removed and the hose must be connected to ensure proper secondary air operation.

2. 2.7 and 3.2 liter E-gas engines are supplied with an A/C compressor.

Spring-Band Type Hose Clamps

Coolant leakage at the spring-band clamps in the engine cooling transmission cooling and heating systems

Information:

If coolant leaks are found at the hose connection points in the engine cooling, transmission cooling and heating systems, you must replace the

spring-band type with screw-type hose clamps. Use the following layouts (in this bulletin) to locate the hose connection points, then reference the

correct screw-type hose clamp.
