Just over 180K miles and runs super strong, recently verified by well known independent Porsche specialist- Squires in Bellevue WA. Top end rebuild at 140K miles by Jerry Woods at Speed Enterprises. One of the early/original Porsche celebrities/experts in Porsche motor building alongside Bruce Anderson. The engine is all original and includes the highly sought after G50 Transmission. Shifts smooth and direct. I have had the car for a little over 5 years, acquired from the 3rd owner in Oakland, California. I鈥檝e added some tasteful mods for a more sporting purpose car, but still have all the original pieces. 20K in this car. The suspension is on the firmer side with the torsion bars, but feels like butter on nice roads and handles like it's on rails. Perfectly balanced IMO. Paint is drivers quality, with a respray by the previous owner. Paint is not perfect but presents well- Great IMO as you鈥檙e not worried about driving it. 7x9 Fuch wheel combination- original OEM Fuchs.
9鈥漵 are extremely valuable and hard to come by. Always serviced regularly- oil changes every 3K and valve adjustments every 10-15K miles. I could be missing more, but that gives you an idea. I have all receipts since owning it and you can tally up the 10s of thousands I鈥檝e put into this car to make it what it is. Slight smoke at startup after its been sitting- This is a symptom of a small oil leak hitting the headers. Not an issue unless it bothers you. The car retains full power (strong at that) with great compression. Squires verified all systems working great (March 2019). The engine does not burn oil, in part illustrated by the fact I do not need to top up between oil changes every 3 monhts/3K miles. Occasional squeak in the clutch. No issue outside of potential annoyance. Hard to even hear, and it's occasional. I'm anal and obsessive about these issues. Eventually, a new clutch kit would solve this. Paint- Not showroom, some chipping and swirls. Radio- Speaker delete with the RS carpet kit/door cards. Doo card style is for speakers so easy addition. Radio that came with the car will be included/minus speakers. 45K. I'll be adding more pictures but can send via email for serious buyers. Lastly, why am I selling? I just bought a house and finished a remodel. Need I say more? I also have a 68 912 which I'm hoping will satisfy my p-car itch for the time being, but will sorely miss this car.

It will take a while as we鈥檙e not expecting the SAV鈥檚 range topper to be introduced until sometime next year. Meanwhile, one tuner has turned its attention towards the outgoing X5 M to teach it a few tricks. Prepared by the Polish folks at Auto-Dynamics, the F85 as it鈥檚 known by BMW aficionados has been dialed to supercar levels of power and it can even eclipse the mighty Lamborghini Urus. While the raging bull from Sant鈥橝gata Bolognese packs 650 horsepower and 850 Newton-meters (627 pound-feet) of torque, this heavily modified X5 M uses an upgraded biturbo 4.4-liter V8 with a meaty 670 hp and 880 Nm (649 lb-ft). The massive bump in output over the standard model has been obtained via an ECU remap, an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, as well as upgraded air filters, and other minor tweaks.
