2019 Porsche 718 Boxster

2019 Porsche 718 Boxster

Up for auction, is this one owner Graphite Blue Metallic 2017 718 Boxster with only 14,081 miles. Being sold by its original owner who worked for Porsche for over 20 years, the car was leased through the Porsche employee purchase program. At the end of the term, he purchased the car from the bank. It is now being offered just in time for spring in beautiful, turn-key condition. The exterior of the vehicle is described to be in excellent condition with no flaws to speak of. The seller does state that while parked, a vehicle backed into the front bumper, leading him have the bumper professionally refinished. To ensure perfect color matching, the body shop blended clearcoat into the nose, making the work virtually undetectable without a paint meter. The seller added that the car was never involved in an accident, all panels are original and the Carfax report is clean. The interior is reported to be in excellent, like-new condition. Everything is in working order as it should be. The PDK 7-speed transmission in connected to a 2.0L Turbo charged 4-Cylinder engine which produces 300HP. With a 4.7 sec sprint to 60mph, there are no performance compromises here. This variation of the Boxster is the most refined yet. In 2017, Porsche introduced the 718 Boxster with a first ever Turbo-charged engine. The "718" in 718 Boxster is a throwback to the 718 RSK racer from the early 1960s, the successor to the infamous 550 Spyder. Both cars came with flat-fours and enjoyed tremendous racing success.

Just a brief through about this car, the color chosen here is Snow White Pearl which looks awesome under the sun! The car specification is not the exact main point I want to focus on. The main point here I want to share is the services and customer interaction provided by Grand Motors Sdn Bhd. When we confirmed wanting to the buy KIA Koup, I immediately look for my relative who had purchased a few KIA before from this particular salesperson. I managed to get hold of his contact and called him up and immediately the following day he visited me privately at my shop. He provided me a brochure and run through what specifications and colors is available. The color and gearbox were chosen and then I was told the car will be ready with all the paper work and procedures in 4 days. I was skeptical about delivering car in 4 days.

Nevertheless, we received the car on the 6th day after confirmation and payment. I was so surprised it took them less then 1 week to get the car register and have it on the road! Why am I surprise you say? Well, JEEP took over one month to be registered(1 month 2 weeks to be exact!), my Dodge about 3 weeks, my MINI about 2 weeks and my previous Peugeot took the agent almost a month to be deliver to me. Talk about comparing fast and slow services! I don't know why it took these dealers so damn long to register a car when KIA can do it in 6 days! Next point, before collecting the car on the delivery day. We were greeted at the showroom because the sale rep would like to go through the final paper work and a demonstration of a few features to my sibling. After that we were greeted by another lady, who runs through all the warranty and what-not to my sister. I am really impress with this kind of thorough services. I don't recall Mercedes Benz, BMW or Porsche providing this kind of services when we bought our cars! And the best part of buying KIA is the peace of mind of 5 years factory warranty! The only company in Brunei that gives out more then 4 years warranty is FORD. The remaining players in Brunei only provide 2-3years warranty. Yes, I ain't kidding. BMW, MINI and Porsche only provided 2 years warranty! I finally understand why KIA has risen from nothing to something around the world. They truly had step-up big time to compete with the Japanese and maybe the German with their K900 which we do not get in Brunei.

Most cars offer some degree of variety and options when you spec them out. Maybe it's an optional powertrain or two, or perhaps a convertible variant, or possibly some options that allow for a semblance of personalization. The 911 offers all of this and then some. The staggering variety of 911 trims (25 for 2019) and options (innumerable) would impress even the census bureau. In the venerable 991 generation, the range spans from the humble Carerra to the scintillating GT2 RS. In between, take your pick from the T, S, 4S, Targa, GTS, Turbo, GT3, and GT3 RS. For added confusion, each of these can be further distilled into another layer of nuanced specificity. The 992 cars continue the 911's long-standing tradition of using a flat-six engine layout mounted just aft of the rear bumper. As with the 991, this engine displaces 3.0 liters and uses two turbochargers to boost power output, though in this guise it has undergone extensive reengineering in the quest for more power and ability.

With new turbos, a redesigned cooling system, and an improved fuel injection process, the engines now make 443 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. All come paired with Porsche's PDK eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission; there's no word yet on whether a manual will eventually return to the lineup. As for the older 991 cars, all utilize a boxer-style six-cylinder engine. Carrera, T, and Targa models use a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged version that makes a maximum of 370 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque. S variants make 420 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque. Turbo models bump displacement to 3.8 liters, resulting in 540 hp and 523 lb-ft of torque. These machines will rip and snort to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds (GT3) or 2.7 seconds (GT2 RS). The sheer volume of 911 trim levels and chargeable extras makes an all-encompassing guide an unrealistic proposition; the result would be book-length rather than anything digestible in a sitting. The following information is therefore purposely excluding certain available options.
