Jawa Motorcycles released a new video last week, which suggests that the company will unveil four bikes in India on November 15. With that said, a report from September claimed that Classic Legends could introduce three bikes in India. Coming back to the leaked image, the Jawa 300 Classic features a black single-piece leather seat. Suspension duties are carried out by telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged twin shock absorbers at the rear. The bike runs on wire-spoke wheels that wrap on MRF Tyres. Anchorage comes from a front disc and a rear drum setup while a single-channel ABS is standard. The first Jawa motorcycle will be powered by an all-new 293 cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine with fuel injection. The single-cylinder motor pumps out 27 bhp of maximum power and 28 Nm of peak torque, while it will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine is BS-VI compliant and is tuned for a flat torque curve and strong mid-range. The retro appeal of the Jawa 300 Classic is further enhanced by chrome detailing to the peripherals. The first Jawa motorcycle is expected to be launched in India by early 2019. It could get a price tag of INR 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
