A Premium Saloon

A Premium Saloon

Audi A6 was the replacement of Audi 100 from the late sixties. It was launched in 1994 and has never been the best in its class. Neither the drive was engaging nor was it comfortable compared to its other rivals like BMW 5series, Mercedes E Class and Jaguar XF. But the new A6-which is fourth generation of A6- has changed it all and ticks all the boxes. It can now be ranked as the best executive saloon available. Whether it is style and class or the fuel economy, the fourth generation A6 is the best all rounder and beats its rivals by far. The relaxing driving experience and a top quality cabin is the cherry on the top. The Audi A6 has a very smartly designed body with sleek and stretched lines. S line Models gets LED daytime running lights, lower and firmer suspension, sporty body kit and bigger alloys.

The entry level models are also equipped with stylish alloys. The desirable and lavish design of the Audi 6 makes the rivals like Jaguar XF and BMW 5 series look bald. The cabin is of premium class and inspired by the A8 with Audi's user friendly MMI controller to complete the deal. The new Audi A6 weighs less than the car it has replaced thanks to the extensive use of aluminium. The drive is agile but the steering is not as responsive as that of others in the class, but A6 still drives sharp and fun to drive. The standard suspension has a firm but comfortable drive, air suspension is also available as an option but there is no point spending money on it. The engine options are a 3.0 litre with 201bhp which is front wheel driven and a four wheel driven 242bhp and a 175bhp 2.0 litre in diesels. The only petrol engine is a 296bhp 3.0 litre V6. The best option is the 2.0 litre diesel which takes most of the share in sales.

It is smooth in all conditions but shows its true relaxing nature on the motorway journeys. The Audi A6 is awarded with a maximum five star Euro NCAP crash test rating. Six airbags, electronic stability control and traction control are the standard feature of the A6 line up. The optional kit includes adaptive cruise control, motorway lane assistance and a blind spot system. Audi cars are famous for their reliability and there is no reason to believe that the new A6 will be any different. The new A6 is longer and wider than the car it has replaced resulting in more space in the back. It allows extra head and legroom for even tall passengers. It boasts 530 litres of boot space which is more than BMW 5 series, it rockets to the 995 litres on folding the rear seats. The 2.0 TDI accounts for most of the sales due to the best power and performance balance. It gives 57.6mpg with carbon emissions of 129g/km which is far ahead of the Jaguar XF 2.2D's 52mpg with 149g/km of CO2. The standard kit offered in Audi 6 is better than any other in the class. The running costs are low thanks to the service packages offered and strong residual values.

And you can achieve that maximum performance on the road or track with the help of Porsche's reknowned PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) together with the Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). Unlike any other 鈥渘anny鈥?system out there, Porsche's stability systems ensure you stay precisely where you need to be: on the road, pointed in the right direction. When it comes time to wind down and come to a stop, Porsche's got you covered there as well. Equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and calipers painted a bright acid green, you'll have the Porsche 918 Sypder's 20鈥?front and 21鈥?rear wheels haulted in mere seconds. Because performance was key with the Porsche 918 Spyder, the position of the engine and the lithium-ion battery pack are low and centralized to keep the balance of the vehicle close to perfection. The Porsche 918 Spyder can travel in full electric mode for up to 15 miles before the gas engine kicks on. Of course, the hybrid engine isn't the only interesting thing about the Porsche 918 Spyder -- far from it. To ensure the car was as light as possible for optimal performance and fuel numbers; the 918 Spyder's lightwight monocoque structure is fashioned from carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CRP). Ideal for the best power-to-weight ratio and high-performance driving, the Spyder's two-piece roof can also be removed and the pieces stored in the luggage compartment.

The new Macan is out. The first thing fans spotted is the new taillight design. However, there are many other smaller or bigger parts that will make the luxury SUV more attractive. But, the base version is nothing compared to 2019 Porsche Macan GTS. The company will wait for the first feedbacks for the base model before they release specs details about the performance-oriented versions. Besides GTS, enthusiasts like us are waiting for updates on Macan Turbo model. Although the crossover is using the same engine as before, it will be capable to produce more power. Nevertheless, boost is not going to be too close to top-range Turbo model and its 400 hp. We will probably see up to 20-25 ponies more for GTS. The base model has 15 hp more than before, now delivering 355 horses total. Since the standard edition presented new parts and features, we can鈥檛 wait to see what will 2019 Porsche Macan GTS offer.
