Rear Climate Control Vents?

Rear Climate Control Vents?

Rear climate control vents? Rear climate control vents? Is there any benefit of keeping the rear climate control vents open or closed if no one is occupying the rear seats? Will keeping them closed increase air output in the front? Does keeping them open help cool the car down faster? Is there any benefit of keeping the rear climate control vents open or closed if no one is occupying the rear seats? Will keeping them closed increase air output in the front? Does keeping them open help cool the car down faster? I think it would follow the same process like home equipped with an HVAC unit. For your car's HVAC itself, I would imagine having very little statistical efficiency gains (if any) by closing off the rear vents. Press this button on the climate control to cut off the flow to the rear vents. Press this button on the climate control to cut off the flow to the rear vents.

What car is in that picture? I've never seen such a button in the IS. I just looked through the 2016 owner's manual and found no references to turning off the rear air outlets. I believe to the left / towards driver side. Takes an extra light push and they go kind of click into off position cutting off the airflow. This does increase air through the front vents if they are closed. I sometimes keep them open, sometimes closed. If using ventilated seats function I keep them open as well as the footwell vents to increase cool air getting below the seat. I just looked through the 2016 owner's manual and found no references to turning off the rear air outlets. The picture is from my NX, but IS and others with S-FLOW all have the same. Guess your doesn't have S-FLOW though since you're missing the button. Then your only option is to close the vents yourself. Refueling incident near Toronto leads to total loss, no injuries. The already-limited number of Porsche 918 Spyder supercars appears to have been reduced after a refueling incident at a gas station northwest of Toronto. A video posted to YouTube shows the rear end of the car engulfed in flames next to an Esso fuel pump in Caledon, Ontario, presumably resulting in a total loss but with no reported injuries. Witnesses reportedly claim the fire started after the fuel began to overflow from the filler neck and splash on the hot exhaust, according to a CBC report. The claims have not been officially confirmed, however. 900,000 by Michael Wekerle, a financial executive also known for his role as a judge on the CBC television series Dragons' Den. Porsche has only planned to build 918 examples of the hybrid sports car, which pairs a 4.6-liter V8 engine with two electric motors for a combined output of 887 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. It promises to launch from zero to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, eventually topping out at 211 mph.

A new Aston Martin Vantage AMR model is debuting soon, and it will have a manual transmission. The Vantage is currently only available with an eight-speed automatic. We've been told that the Aston Martin Vantage would be getting a manual transmission since before the new generation even debuted in late 2017, and it looks like it's finally happening. Aston posted a teaser image online that shows three pedals, with the clutch colored in lime green. The teaser also shows the AMR logo, which is Aston's recently created performance sub-brand, hinting that the manual transmission will be found in a new Vantage AMR model. The Vantage uses a version of Mercedes-AMG's twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8, which in AMG applications is paired only with an automatic transmission. Aston thus had to engineer a manual to fit all on its own, explaining why it has taken a few years. Expect the AMR to also get a number of styling tweaks, chief among them lime-green accents聴an AMR signature. We wouldn't be surprised to see some chassis upgrades and a bit more power, too. The existing AMR models are pitched as the highest-performance versions of Aston's cars, so this Vantage should be no different. We don't yet know if the Vantage AMR will be a limited-run car like the Rapide AMR and the previous Vantage AMR, or if it will be a regular production model like the new DB11 AMR. It's also possible the AMR will still be available with the standard Vantage's eight-speed automatic as an option.
