All About PORSCHE Car
The Porsche 914-6 GT was a race car built and sold collaboratively by Volkswagen and Porsche. The Porsche 914 was introduced in September 1969 as a collaborative effort between Porsche and Volkswagen to produce a sporty car. The car they came up with was a mid-engined vehicle with seating for two and featured a targa top. A 4-cylinder boxer engine provided the power. Volkswagen need a vehicle to replace the aging Karmann-Ghia while Porsche was looking for another option to add to their line up. The VW bodied vehicles were known as 914/4s, while the Porsche variants were known as 914/6s. However, all 914's sold in North America were sold as Porsches. The car sits very low and the suspension is stiff making it a great competition car rather than a touring car. The headlights hide in the hood and pop-up when needed. The targa top can be stored in the trunk. The horizontally opposed flat-four engine is mid-mounted and came in three differnent sizes, 1.7, 1.8 or 2 liter. The 1.7 liter engine produced 80 hp (60 kW), the 1.8 produced 79, and the 2.0 liter engine produced 95. A five-speed manual gearbox was standard equipment on all models. The 914/6 was short lived with only 3360 examples produced between 1970 and 1972. All featured the 2.0 liter flat-six engine. It was raced using different engine configurations. This included the 'T' specification, which was basically a stock 911 engine. Another popular configuration was to use a converted Carrera 6 engine. In 1970 Porsche entered a 914/6 GT in the grueling 24 hours of Le Mans race. It finished 6th overall and won its class. A remarkable accomplishment. This was only one chapter in the vehicles extensive racing career which continues even to this day.
We had the opportunity to see the new Audi R8 GT for the first time at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and remained in our minds ever since. Audi offers Alcantara for the interior and leather as an option. Also carbon fiber accents can be seen on the doors and dashboard. It seem that the 90 units to be sold on the US market will not be equipped with the Sparco bucket seats, 4-point racing harness, ignition kill switch and red roll cage like the rest. Suzuka Gray, Ice Silver, Phantom Black and Samoa Orange are the colors available for the new supercar. The automaker managed to decrease the weight of the R8 GT by 180 pounds of the standard 5.2 Coupe and the reduction comes from the rear bumper, rear hatch, carpeting, battery, hood, rear spoiler and side blades. The transmissions available for the Audi R8 5.2 engines are a traditional gated 6-speed manual and an R-Tronic 6-speed single-clutch sequential automatic. Unfortunately the units prepared for the US market do not have these options. The speed is limited by the aerodynamic elements and so, the model reaches 199 mph. The acceleration time is being improved by the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. It touched the road with a set of 19-inch alloy wheels that feature Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires measuring 235/35R19 on the front axle and 295/30R19 on the rear one. The handling and the tuning were also upgraded thanks to the replacement of the electronic suspension with standard Bilstein coilovers. Audi R8 GT is very easy to drive because of its accurate steering wheel and all-wheel drive grip. There is no doubt the model will offer driving pleasure and also that it will not set any track records. This is the most powerful model in its lineup and German specialists should be very proud of their new achievement. This is where their hard work pays off.
Welcome to Tesla Control! Tesla Control is the most popular, highest-rated, and most actively updated and supported Windows Store app available today for Tesla vehicles! What is Tesla Control? Tesla Control is an unofficial Windows Store app for monitoring and controlling Tesla vehicles. It supports the Model S, Model X and now Model 3! Tesla Control includes several unique features such as Alerts, EcoStats and Leaderboards not found in other Tesla apps. Not even the official iOS and Android apps from Tesla Motors! Early in my ownership experience I learned that Tesla does not provide an official app for Windows. But I wanted to be able to monitor and control my car from my Windows Phone and desktop PC at home and at work. So I started this project to fill that gap. While Tesla Control started primarily as a personal solution, it has been made available for other owners to use if they wish. Already a Tesla Control user?
If you are already a user of Tesla Control, thank you! As a fellow owner and Tesla enthusiast, I hope you that continue to enjoy Tesla Control and find it useful! Please consider joining the Tesla Control user community and help shape the future development of the app. Not yet a Tesla Control user? If you have not yet tried Tesla Control why wait? You can Get Tesla Control for free from the Windows Store! Why are ads shown in the app and on the website? This is a common question! App developement is a costly and risky endeavor. Unfortunately, few small independant app developers break-even let alone earn a net profit on their efforts. It can take many hundreds up to thousands of hours of research, development and testing to create, publish and maintain a high-quality app. Additionally, an evolving regulatory landscape, for example the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), while great for consumers complicates app development. Each new regulation further increases app development and operational costs.
Rather than require users to pay up front for Tesla Control, or offer a limited trial period, we have chosen to offer it to users for free. That way, our users can take their time to evaluate Tesla Control and decide whether it meets their needs. Tesla Control has already been updated over 70 times to add new features and address issues reported by our global user community. If you use Tesla Control and enjoy the app, then purchasing one or more of the available add-on upgrades is one small way to help offset the significant and on-going development, test and operational costs for the author. Tesla Control started as, and continues to be, a passion project for the author. It is not a profitable enterprise. How do I use Tesla Control? If you are new to Tesla Control a great place to start is to read through the documentation.
