Or Your Commute Could Change

Or Your Commute Could Change

Greetings valerie3. Five years is way too long to lease a vehicle for. A lot can happen over the course of five years to make you want to get out of your lease early - and this is usually a very expensive thing to do. For instance, you could get fed up with spending big bucks to feed your Cayenne at the pump. Or your commute could change, causing you to put way more miles on your Cayenne than you had intended and to have to pay a large excess mileage penalty. Four years is the longest lease that I advise anyone to enter into and a 36 to 39 month lease is a much more reasonable term. Let's calculate a sample 36 month lease payment on the truck that you are considering and see what its payment is like. As far as waiting goes, if you wait until December you may have a hard time finding a 2005 Cayenne to lease. I have heard that there aren't that many 2005 models left on dealer lots. 3,000 per truck to convert most of their remaining Cayennes into demo vehicles. As a result, there is a good chance that you can get the Cayenne that you are considering for less than dealer invoice.

Working daily in one of the busiest Porsche dealerships in the country I hear some great and sometime outlandish stories about owning one of the world鈥檚 most fascinating motorcars. Once in a rare while one of these stories comes around that must be shared with the Porsche family. While searching the internet for historic photos of some of my favorite Porsche cars I found this collection of images of a pristine 1969 912 Targa. The photos were arranged in a slide show with a beautifully written story of love and dedication for this particular automobile. During the release of the all new Panamera Grand Turismo, Porsche launched an advertising campaign entitled 鈥淔amily Tree鈥? Porsche encouraged owners to share their ownership stories with the Porsche Family. I have yet to see an example as wonderful as this story of Kim Flint and his 30th year reunion with his first Porsche love. In 1969 Kim Flint Sr. purchased his dream car, a burgundy 912 Targa. The rest of this story is played out magnificently in photos and captions here on Kim Flint Jr's web site. It's stories like Kim Flint's that keep me interested in selling Porsche cars. For me it's not about selling a product but more about extending our family tree. Many thanks to Kim Flint Jr. and Sr. for sharing their story with us. My name is Jay Huffschmidt and I don't sell cars, I sell Porsche. Beverly Hills Porsche is centrally located to all of Los Angeles. Stop by and see why there is NO SUBSTITUTE!

Volkswagen has finally unveiled the third generation 2019 VW Touareg, but before you get too excited there鈥檚 one big caveat - it鈥檚 not coming to the United States. Now that the U.S. Atlas, there鈥檚 no room for the Touareg in VW鈥檚 lineup here, but if you鈥檙e outside the U.S. 鈥檒l be happy to hear that the new Touareg is more luxurious and bigger. The 2019 VW Touareg is based on the VW Group鈥檚 MLB platform, which is used by the Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga, Audi Q7 and even the new Lamborghini Urus. The new Touareg is a bit bigger than its predecessor, with its length being stretched 3.0-inches and its width being growing 1.7-inches. The bigger dimensions provide a bigger interior and more cargo space. The good news is that even though the 2019 Touareg is bigger, the SUV is now 234 pounds lighter thanks to more aluminum and high strength steel.

From the front the new Touareg adopts a face that looks close to the new Arteon with its wide grille. The headlights are a lot more techy than they look since they are what VW calls LED matrix headlights with a whopping 128 LEDs per headlight. The front of the new Touareg is where most of the differences, since as you move back towards the rear the overall changes are more evolutionary than a drastic redo. Inside the interior is full of the latest tech with a massive 15-inch touchscreen in the center console and a 12-inch screen in front of the driver. In Europe, Volkswagen will initially offer two V6 diesel engines for the new Touareg with outputs of 228-hp and 281-hp. In some markets a 335-hp V6 gas engine and a 415-hp V8 turbodiesel will be offered. A new plug-in hybrid Touareg with 362-hp is being prepared for China.

There鈥檚 a lot to expect from big time British tuning company Project Kahn. Under the creative direction of Afzal Kahn, the tuning specialists have place their hand on Audi, Rolls Royce, Ashton Martin and other A list vehicles. 鈥攊n a positive way of course. The Porsche Panamera RS600 is already a high performing vehicle as it is, and surprisingly Project Kahn left it as it is. Well at least for the engine part. The Panamera鈥檚 3.6-liter V6 is a tough cookie with 300 horsepower. Experts at Kahn agree that it鈥檚 the best available as of now. Project Kahn made most of the modifications on the Panamera鈥檚 exterior. The obvious changes include a modified rear bumper decorated with Bi-Xenon headlights. The vehicle now features a lowered suspension system. There are also additional side vents and sports exhaust in black satin. Lastly, a unique set of Kahn RS-600 wheels were added. The interior is fully furnished with fine black leather, and further decorated with customized floor mats, heated seats and privacy glass. Project Kahn also integrated a multi-functional steering wheel into the package. The Park Assist remains a pretty neat feature along with the Porsche Vehicle Tracking System.
