The New Porsche 911 Carrera Is Stunning
鈥淭he new 911 is the sum of its predecessors - and is therefore a reflection of the past and a vision of the future. The silhouette: iconic. The design: timeless. The technology: inspired by great racing victories and always one step ahead. Settle in. The weekend is about to kick-off. Taking a look at the new 2020 Porsche Carrera, it鈥檚 easy to see its design is very much indebted to the brand鈥檚 long and storied legacy. This car features a very familiar exterior design, cylinder number and layout to its most recent predecessors. It does include however, advanced details such as an eye-catching light panel added to its rear and extremely digital infotainment and other systems which give clues to its many innovations. Interested owners will be able to choose between a number of highly variants across the car鈥檚 four trims. The Carrera S, all-wheel drive Carerra 4S form the base of the product line. They feature design inclusions such as a wider and more muscular spoiler and additional light panel on the rear which add some new and quite memorable details. Electrically powered, pop-out door handles create a more nuanced and stylish silhouette. Up front, the 911 now has LED Matrix Lights with a proprietary Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS). The matrix design includes 84 unique LED lights and uses range and intensity to create a powerful beam of light which aids drivers while reducing risk to other cars on the road. Those who love the thrill of wind while they drive will be interested in checkout out the next generation 911 Cabriolet. A lighter and easier to maneuver roof makes this a great choice for the convertible lover. The all-hydraulic lift system can raise or lower the roof in 12 seconds at speeds of up to 35 mph. The car also features a system to reduce the sound and pressure of wind for times when it becomes too much.
