Fault Effect: No engine start possible
Procedure
1. Check transponder for presence in the key.
2. Wrong transponder - not adapted to the vehicle - teach the transponder.

Switch, Door Secured On Right
Fault Code 43
Procedure
1. Disconnect plug connection X 12 (passenger's side).
2. Ohmmeter at pin 26 (sleeve side) and pin A3.
Display: < 5 ohms
Note:
There is another plug connection in the door on the door lock module.
If no fault is found, test directly on the door lock module between pins 3 and 7.

Switch, Door Secured On Left
Fault Code 44
Procedure
1. Disconnect plug connection X 11 (driver's side).
2. Ohmmeter at pin 26 (sleeve side) and pin A3.
Display: < 5 ohms
Note:
There is another plug connection in the door on the door lock module.
If no fault is found, test directly on the door lock module between pins 3 and 7.
Test Point 44

Servo motor, central locking system Positive short
Fault Code 45
Fault Effect: No central locking or unlocking possible
Procedure
1. Pull off plug II at the alarm control unit.
2. Disconnect plug connection X 11 (driver's side).
