NOTE:
- If this fault is actually present, then no communication is possible between the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588 and the air-conditioning
system regulator.
- In this case carry out the test as described below.
Air-conditioning CAN Bus off
NOTE:
The CAN comfort bus is connected to the following control units:
- Instrument cluster
- Air-conditioning system regulator
- PCM2/CDR23 (if present)
NOTE: Communication between the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588 and the air-conditioning system regulator or PCM2/CDR23 (if present)
occurs via the instrument cluster and the CAN comfort bus.
Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit of CAN leads to B+/ground or between each other
- CAN leads interchanged
- A faulty control unit connected to CAN comfort bus

Plug B, pin 1 and pin 2
