Mechanical fault while ejecting magazine
Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- PCM2/CDR23 ON
- Functional audio CD inserted correctly in CD changer
- Start CD changer
- Magazine damaged
- Magazine deformed
NOTE:
- Actuating the operating buttons for '>= 1 Min.' results in a fault code 8003 being recorded in PCM2 MMI/CDR23
- Deactivate the 'automatic traffic announcement' before performing the diagnosis on the PCM2/CDR23. If this is not done, the diagnosis will
abort.
Possible cause of fault
- Magazine damaged or deformed
- CD changer faulty
NOTE:
- The MOST optical waveguide is connected to the following control modules:
- PCM2/CDR23
- CD changer
- Amplifier
- Telephone/telematics
