Entry & Drive: Modified Ignition Starter Switch (57110)

Model year:

2010

Vehicle Type:

Panamera S/Panamera Turbo

Equipment:

Porsche Entry & Drive (I-no. 625) - With/Without: Re-integration model year A (I-no. 750)

Concerns:

Ignition starter switch for "Entry & Drive":

- Modified operation/handling

Information:

- "Entry & Drive" ignition switch (with four ignition switch positions)

no longer installed.

- Ignition switch standardized to standard version (with three

ignition switch positions).

In the current model year A (2010), the ignition switch used up to now with four ignition switch positions is no longer installed on vehicles with

Entry & Drive" and has been replaced by the standard ignition switch with three ignition switch positions.

Date of introduction: mid-April 2010.

You will recognize vehicles with Entry & Drive" featuring the standard ignition switch in the master data by the I-no 750 (Re-integration model year A).

Change:

As a result of the standardization of the ignition switch to the standard version, vehicles with "Entry & Drive" no longer have the following

functions:

- Activate steering lock manually (= ignition switch in position 3 for approx. 2 seconds).

- Remove control panel (ignition switch adapter) from the ignition switch (= ignition switch in position 3 for approx. 10 seconds).

As of the date of introduction, the "Steering lock" function on vehicles with "Entry & Drive" is activated in the same way as the existing automatic

steering lock:

With the ignition switched off, the steering wheel is locked automatically via the steering column when the driver's door is opened and is unlocked

automatically in position 1 after the ignition key is inserted.

As of the specified date of introduction, the "Remove control panel" function on vehicles with Entry & Drive" is activated in the same way as the existing standard version:

Only possible using the emergency operation mechanism (metal hook). For details/procedure, see --> Owners Manual --> Driving and Driving Safety --> 'Ignition Lock, Steering Lock'.

This topic is not updated in the Owner's Manual for model year A.
