2010 Porsche Panamera Turbo (970) V8-4.8L Turbo A L L Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC ): P Code Charts Page 484
Possible fault causes
- Line between temperature sensor and PDK control unit faulty
- Temperature sensor faulty
- PDK control unit faulty
Fault setting conditions
- Measured sensor voltage < 1.18 V
Fault effects
- An internal temperature substitute value is used
- Transmission limp-home indication in instrument cluster
Diagnosis Information - PDK (Dual-Clutch Transmission)
P0711
Diagnosis information - PDK
Transmission oil temperature sensor, signal implausible
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
- Ignition on
- The following fault is not saved: P1831
- The following fault is not saved: P1832
- The following fault is not saved: P1839
- The following fault is not saved: P183A
Possible fault causes
- The measured oil temperature deviates from the calculated temperature
Fault setting conditions
- The measured temperature does not match the calculated temperature
Fault effects
- The calculated temperature value is used
- Transmission limp-home indication in instrument cluster
With P172F
P0712
Diagnosis information - PDK
Transmission oil temperature sensor, signal implausible
Diagnostic conditions
The control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are
then tested and any faults are stored.
- Ignition on
Possible fault causes
- Short circuit in line between oil temperature sensor and PDK control unit
- Oil temperature sensor faulty
Fault setting conditions
- Measured voltage > threshold value (2.35 V)
Fault effects
- Substitute value is used
- Clutch pressure < holding threshold 8.1 bar and torque limitation
- Transmission limp-home indication in instrument cluster control unit
With P0711
P0712
