Experts say the Cayman has almost 40% of the features derived from the Boxster like, the front end, doors dashboard and suspensions. The major difference Cayman and Boxster is in the appearance of the sleek back. The Cayman have already reached to the second generation model with revised engine and body work. The LED interior lights added to the front and rear of the car for the luxury interior feelings. The lights on the front and rear are offering full safety and style. The cluster design of headlamp had the cluster redesigning giving it a modern sporty look. The two basic types of engine are developed for the Cayman 2.7 and 2.9 liter with five speed automatic and manual transmission. Recently the six speeds and seven speed PDK double clutch gearbox were trialed. Porsche has claimed it has improved the drivability and performance of the vehicle. A few more options have been added like new alloy wheel styles, leather options, and body kits.

Please hate this car hard enough to drive the resale down. I think it worked. On track : The GT4 is an awesome machine, pure sound, like a 911 some time better. Good handling. Cayman S is also very good. But GT4 is in much stickier tire so it might have an edge in lap time. Power: Finally they gave enough power to a Cayman, Nice flat torque curve. According Randy 718 S feels good. Nice car except boring sound track. Pretty much. The old "flat 6 sound versus turbo 4 power" thing is already getting old. They're both great cars, buy the one that works best for you. I prefer sound and character, but can't judge anyone who wants the quicker (much) torquier car with the refreshed chassis and interior either. Interestingly the GT4 makes identical torque to the 718S, but the 718's torque is available over a much wider spread on the low end. But the GT4 is an anomaly as far as Caymans go, considering it's got the big 3.8L flat 6 from the 911 and was limited production. Yeah, I was comparing 981S and 718S. Like I said, GT4 and 718 is kind of apples and oranges. Yeah I agree. Porsche's new turbo engines significantly out-accelerate their NA flat 6 predecessors in both the 911 and Cayman/Boxster, especially when paired with the PDK which would ensure no loss of boost between shifts. But it's basically faster than the GT4 with the same rubber, which says a lot. 718 was only .4 seconds slower than the GT4 but somehow the cayman s 718 is a second and a half slower. Tires were different on the GT4s maybe? Could have been different tires, too. What size wheels were on the Boxster?
